Moment by moment……

A Corn Maze Virgin No Longer

on October 24, 2012

This past Sunday, my girls and I went to Richardson’s Corn Maze. Emilie was still pretty sick with a cold so we didn’t stay long.

I have to say I was underwhelmed. For the past three years, I’ve been aching to go to a corn maze with the girls. I’ve wanted to run and play. I didn’t do too much running as I had my camera with me. And once we were done with the maze, we were done. There wasn’t much of anything else to do.

Still, I’ve heard a corn maze is really fun at night. I’d love to give it a go!

  1. Ashley says:

I’m sorry to hear your experience at the corn maze was lacking, Vikki. I must say that I agreed with your assessment (when I went while living in Illinois). I 100% recommend checking it out at night though. Trying to find your way through the maze in the dark (with only a flashlight), is a completely different animal than the same maze during the day. Oh, and if you do undertake the task, try to plan it during a cloudy night. Lots of cloud cover = less moonlight and makes for an even harder (fun) time! 🙂

  2. It also didn’t help that Emilie was sick. We’ll go again at some point. 🙂
