I’m learning about protein. Protein in the morning is a key ingredient for breakfast, in my opinion. It gets you going, fills you up and energizes you for the day. Here’s a couple of protein recipes to try.

 

1 cup of skim milk

 

1 cup low-fat plain yogurt

 

1 frozen banana

 

1 tsp of peanut butter

 

Blend and enjoy

 

OR…..

 

substitute peanut butter for 1 scoop of your favorite protein power. Blend and bottoms up!

    Make the yogurt greek yogurt, and you’ll have even more protein. 🙂 Make it 2% greek yogurt, the little bit of fat helps to absorbs the nutrients better than 0% fat.
